Shipping
Every piece leaves the atelier in Riga, Latvia by DHL Express: crated, insured and tracked, to almost anywhere in the world.
The Carrier
All shipments travel with DHL Express, door to door. Each crate is insured for the full value of the piece, and the tracking number reaches you the day it leaves the atelier.
The Crate
The sculpture is held in cut foam inside a rigid crate, in a Mist box carrying the wordmark and the edition numeral. No printed photography; the piece introduces itself.
Inside travels the story of the piece (its series, its finish, the way the cast was taken) and the series number, marked on the inside of the work itself, where only the owner knows to look.
Discretion
The outer crate is plain: an address, a fragile mark, nothing else. The sender reads as a neutral studio name, on the label and on your bank statement.
Client names are never published, and no piece is ever photographed in a client’s home without written permission.
Timeframes
Within the European Union: 2–4 business days. Rest of the world: 3–7 business days.
Both run from dispatch. A piece made to order first takes its place in the calendar; the enquiry reply states the month it ships.
Costs & Duties
Shipping is quoted with the piece, by destination, size and weight, before anything is paid.
Within the EU there are no customs charges. Outside the EU, import duties and taxes are set by the destination country and are the buyer’s responsibility.
Where We Ship
Worldwide, with one exception: we do not ship to countries or regions under European Union or United States sanctions. At present that includes Russia, Belarus, Iran, North Korea, Syria, Cuba, and the occupied territories of Ukraine.
The list follows the law as it changes. If your destination is in doubt, ask before you fall for a piece.
